Grouping in Factions vs Nightfall
Hi, I started about 2 weeks ago and have since finished the Factions campaign twice and I'm about halfway through the Nightfall one. Is it just me, or are people much less inclined to group up for missions in Nightfall? It seems to me everyone just takes their heroes and henchies to the missions, whereas in Factions it's much easier for me to find a group. Of course they are MUCH easier than the prophecies missions from what I remember, but it makes the experience feel like a cheap single player game. Right now I'm actually working on going through Factions a 3rd time on a new character, even though I still want to find out what happens in the story of Nightfall. Anyone else feel lonely in Nightfall?

Some people will only own factions, therefore they don't have access to heroes. I often find some lonely person trying to find a group in NF, I end up grouping with them, adding to my friends list and playing through a few more missions with them. I also play through the games with friends, unless either of us is in a rush to get somewhere for some farm.

It helps to have some good friends or a good guild if you really want to escape the "lonely" feeling and have people in your group. Other than that, If you want to do the game regardless and just ignore the lonely feeling...I'll say this... the entire guildwars series is beatable with heroes/henchman, I've done it, friends done it, can be done. But do try to find a friendly guild and build some in-game acquaintances.

Well I would not say cheap (wrong words) Its that some PUGS can be a nightmare and some would be just quicker taking heros than requsting groups in towns.
I wil give classic example went into a pug to-day, (as was waitng on guildie) told guy to run right...so you got that..yea...guy runs left..agroes large group Excuse me i said right...i forgot.....10 secs later So its not right to say cheap my friend when you have things like this happening Thats why in missions guys know heros will somewhat go the way you want them, Have seen more people requesting groups in Nightfall than the 2 others may I add |
